Such a requirement was set by the National Bank of Belarus for those Belarusian banks wich are licensed for attracting resources of private persons. First the banks were required to reach the level of the 25 mln Euro normative capital by 1 January 2010. And in late 2009 the National Bank numerously stated that it was not going to postpone that date. The NationalBank was also stating that the licenses for attracting resources of private persons wil be called back from those banks having not implemented the requirement.
