Transition to the standard of payment instructions ISO 20022
August 1 2022 to the payment system of the Republic of Belarus will be < strong>implemented standard methodology ISO 20022 .
The changes are regulated by the plan for the comprehensive implementation of the ISO 20022 standard methodology into the payment system of the Republic of Belarus and other automated systems for 2021-2022.
The changes will affect the set and requisite composition of payment documents (payment orders, payment requests, transfers with the sale of foreign currency).
ISO 20022 — international standard for the exchange of electronic messages between organizations in the financial industry. For May, 2022 the standard is used by more than 70 countries.
Please note that on July 31 the work of the Internet banking system for legal entities, online enrollment will be temporarily suspended to cards, making payments in the instant payment system (IPS). If possible, please carry out all the necessary operations on the eve of installing updates.
The following fields will be added when generating electronic documents:
9 request (Ruble payment)
- Category code for payment purpose (selected from E004)
- Payment purpose code (selected from N099)
29 request (Payment request)
- Category code for payment purpose (selected from E004)
- Payment purpose code (selected from N099)
62 request (Payment order with conversion)
- Category code for payment purpose (selected from E004)
- Payment purpose code (selected from N099)
